Hello - we have recently opened up our conservatory and kitchen and need to find suitable flooring. We have a concrete raft which has had self levelling screed applied, 12.5mm insulation, then an omni underfloor wet system installed topped with 6mm ply. We do not have enough depth for tiles so need something thinner. I am totally baffled between Amtico, Karndean and Pergo, other than Karndean is slightly cheaper than Amtico! Can anyone offer advice please - I think that we also need some underlay to reduce noise if possible.

Glass area is new and anti-reflective if that helps!

If you are going to have a lvt then they will be glued down with no underlay.
Amtico and Karndean are the big company's but lots out there as well like
Distinctive , Moduleo , Polyflor etc.

It's all about the prep so you would be best to get a flooring firm to come and give you a quote.

1000% agree with Adam, I used to think it was great the first couple times I used it but then it went downhill. The finish on some of the ranges are shite. Id rather push lifestyle over that anyday and that aint even that great either! Budget for me goes colonia>camaro>expona/karndean

Yes, because is one of the cheapest one. If your budget is bigger you can use better materials. I will say Polyflor.

Cheapest one but buy cheap you get cheap....and the cheap look o_O
Just because its cheapest doesnt mean it has to be recommended imo.
K trade is about same price and thats karndean, id use that at a minimum

I am recommending because the quote with Deco tile LVT will be lower price and you can beat some one else with karndean quote. Every one wants to make money. Some time the customers are not professional experts and no too fussy. If you giving an expensive quote you going to stay at home. They are not rubbish. If Deco tile is on the market is mean they having customers to buying this product. I have lost one quote with Polyflor quote against Deco tile i find that later on. It is big different price for commercial grades.

K trade is not the same price mate. It is about £2 or £2.50 m2 on the top. I don't want to calculate the difference for about 100 sqm job.

Yeah and Adore is still on the market and thats shit too! Just because you want to win the Job doesnt mean you have to go with the cheapest crap on the marke because Deco is crap. So are you saying that because deco is still available it must be good then? Difference in opinions mate. As for KTrade more a m2 then you are paying to much for your Deco!!!!

...and you cant compare deco tile to karndean unless your customer is blind because the quality compared to karndean is....well need I say. My customers inow what they want so if they suggested Karndean then I wouldnt dish out the Deco samples lol

Korea for decotile.. if rather fit the Lg stuff than knight tile, some of the knight tile I've gone to fit is shocking, misprints, bowed bored and the Lg woods have a nicer texture and half the price to buy!
