hi guys, after a bit advice on my kitchen floor... currently have marmoleum which comes up great after a couple of coats of wet look polish but I am having a new kitchen fitted in January and am looking for something different ,was looking at karndean art select or da Vinci stone but have read on here that some of you do not rate it, what alternatives would you guys suggest I am looking for something that would take a nice bright polish many thanks

Not all brands/flooring is going to be to everyones taste, where you may love your marmoleum floor some would say they dont rate it. Some will slate karmdean and im one of them only because I cant stand fitting the opus tile range  but do like the da vinci and my love is coming back for the van gogh (which several yrs back I hated it) what im trying to say is if you see a type floor you like then dont be put off if someone says its shite.

Art select is a nice range, fitting quite a bit of it lately as well as the Camaro/expona range from polyflor. All depends on what look you are looking for. Go and have a look at some samples in the shops or get in touch with a fitter near you who supplied/fits lvt.

Art select has a gloss finish so if you're wanting a polished finish be a good pick tbf.

Sorry guys meant to say I am a floorlayer mostly contract stuff though... was just interested what you guys rate as a good stone effect lvt that does not scratch easily. Thanks

It all scratches and some of it even shrinks. If your lucky it will be cut straight. It's all a bit of a gamble so may as well pick the colour you like and hope for the best

Barrier mats and felt pads. Prevent the causes of scratches.
Using a maintenance product / kit helps ascwell
