I`ve used all of the above.
At the moment I use a De-Walt box, which is big and heavy, but normally take it in on a sack barrow, and all the boy`s pile there kit on top, then drag it in.
De-walt do a stack system which looks ok, but im not sure if it would be robust enough.
When I used to throw a few tools in a bucket, I always found I needed something which I didn`t throw in

I have this. It's as tough as they come!! But to be honest I just use the top section for day to day bits. Then.....if I'm really really honest I put most of my bits in my colleagues bag and he carries it ;)

I was only looking at this lastnight Glenn, only because I was looking at that dewalt disco dab radio....what a beat that is. Then watched a review about it and seen the trolley. Palce down the road from me sells them for £245 (trolley and 3 boxes) but would I really use it? May e buy trolley seperate and buy 1 box...all this to justify buying the dewalt radio o_O

You realise what I have isn't dewalt tho right? Mine is the JCB. Saw one on site, saw how heavy duty it is and how good the storage was etc. Bought mine from B&Q for about £110 in total. There's no separate trolley as it's built into the bottom box. Good value for money and I don't see it breaking anytime soon. Tough built, good locks and clasps that won't snap after a month.

    To answer my own thread
I've just got a tool bag so I can sling it over my shoulder and still carry other gear
I've got a rolling tool box in the van and it never leaves so normally ended up with my main tools in and out in a bucket.
The bag has been a good idea up to now much better than lugging a solid box about

I use the jcb boxes as well. I have 1 rolling one and 2 of the others.
The middle ones are used for my carpet and wood tools. The 2 top ones - one has my cordless drill and jigsaw in, the other has my coil nailer and some nails in.
I use an open top tote bag for my lvt/ vinyl tools, then I have a similar box to the jcb middle one for all my ratchet straps for wood
