Hi Gents, new to the forum but have looked at this forum for different queries in the past, and its been help full.
I sell flooring (tiles, wood floor, etc) for living. Time has come to move on and choose a trade and not worry about over head of shop, bills etc.
Internet and big tile companies have made it difficult for small business to be competitive, not to mention increase in business rates and taxes.

I am considering for some time to get some training on Resin floor installation. Does any one has experience or exposer to it ? if yes, please advice me on Do's and Do not's. Some one in the trade told me to learn how to do plastering first and then jump resin flooring, not sure if its correct or not ?

    Thanks
    Mo

Its easier than it looks but takes time as you cant rush it. It isnt as forgiving as spreading resin on a subfloor due to the mix having the stone in it but looks spot on when its all set and some of the textures and effects you can put down is endless.

You are kind of stepping into a builders job with driveways and im not used to getting as shit up as you do. Someone mixing for you and pouring whilst you are on the deck spreading going over and over it to get that smooth finish

Makes sense. Thank you for reality check. Do you think resin flooring has scope in the comming years ?

If you have contacts in the right fields that demand that specific type of flooring then you would be ok. However starting off from scratch could prove quite difficult.

Thanks Glenn, I tried out a new online lead generating system called ABI Evolution. I had good response on tiles and flooring. Will try for resin too, see what comes out.
