Used it a few times and it seems ok. Fairly new product so too soon to know regarding the ht aspect. Only downside I suppose is you have to mix the whole tub and any excess is waste.
Ohhh noooo.... First time I used it I let tack off but the several times ive used it in the past month or so after about 5 mins im laying in so semi wet. The first demo I seen of this was from the fball rep and I asked him how can it be a full high temp adhesive if you can let it tack off and he said its the way its been formulated. It allows you to spread more and have longer working time rather than their F48
I've used it on a few jobs recently I quite like it. If you put the lid back on a part tub it's still fine the next day. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Yes you win I lose well done. Think I'll ignore you on this one and carry on, seems to be working fine for me so far. Though I believe there are one pot alternatives available these days from the likes or Ardex, Nora etc that may make the likes of F49 obsolete? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
All PS is shite anyway F49 is only HT if it's used semi wet or basically wet set So defeats the object of a PS adhesive ? I've been trying it over the last few weeks and yes it is a good PS as it goes but if I want a HT I'll stick to ke66 as I dry fit nearly everything any way but hey you've got to tries these things. Every pot I've mixed has gone off in the tub not long after 2 hours I'm talking 10 or so tubs I've used Which also makes it a bit of a Waste of money. I do like the trowel that comes in the box Just wish it was an A2 for wet set lol
HT is pointless in my opinion. Its a con. You may as well just wet set any adhesive Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've been using F49 more for the fact that it's water resistant than the HT bit. I used it in some shower area/changing rooms recently. I thought the fibres in the ke66 were what gave it the extra strength over other wet set adhesives? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Ive never had to save any F49 but was under the assumption you can reuse it. Anyway spacey will be pleased that I have a new tub of KE66 ready for monday
Ke66 is just has an unreal bond full stop The fibres help with tiles slipping when wet setting but the main reason is to prevent indentation through the floor covering Like of your laying on a low compression strength screed like NA. Not that uzin would recommend NA lol Uzin don't actually do an epoxy adhesive because as ke66 is just as strong and also moisture tolerant
