Hello, new screed had been put down just standard sand cement. Customer is having carpet underlay etc how long before it can go down is it the same as all other flooring or could it go down sooner as it could possibly still dry out.?.....

Hi there....... Your looking at 6 weeks curing time ( that's not drying) then it all depends on the type of carpet and underlay. If your carpet and underlay is not breathable (highly likely) then the amount of moisture coming out will probably cause mold and smells under the carpet. It needs to dry which could take months and months. Your best bet is to apply a surface moisture suppressant the latex then stick grippers or double stick
