Tool insurance

    hi I've just been doing a quick calculation of the value of the tools that I carry on my van on a day to day basis, it's around 6k
    Who do you all use for you tool insurance please ? I don't want to go to a company that will try to wriggle out of it if I ever have to make a claim.thouch wood.

    I'm a bit OCD so I carry shit loads, there's over a grand in dewalt cordless stuff, welding equipment etc, if you really add up what it would cost you to replace all your gear it soon mounts up, staplers at £150 a time even my pin leveler is £100 to replace.

    I'm looking to get tool insurance as well. Only had a look at a few but I see some take into considerTion how old/used the tool is so don't give u the full price back.
    Maybe I'm wrong but that's what I assumed when reading a few bits

    Been talking to insurance about van cover.
    No ones van is covered if a van is broken into with no visible signs.
    So if someone uses one of these keys that are out then they won't pay out.
