* For a blue "skilled worker" CSCS card you need to complete an NVQ at level 2.
* For a gold "skilled worker" CSCS card you will not need to complete an NVQ at level 3.

Funding is being halved and you will soon have to pay towards your NVQ. (approx £395 we are guessing)

I phoned some agency up that is doing some work in Notts and he wasn't bothered which card as long as it was a cscs.

Then rang cscs to find out what next, he said pay the £30 for the card and I don't have to resit the Heath and safety exam ( mine run out in march) as it's covered in my NVQ. Been waiting weeks and nothing. So rang them today and said what's going on and do I have to resit the H&S exam. He said no which I think is wrong but hes now sending me out my form to fill in. :roll:

So, yes nobody likes being tested, so a tip, get hold of a copy of the CITB consruction skills pc cd-rom, this will help you so much, giving you all you need to know to breath a bit easier.
