Personally can’t comment on textures I’ve never had the pleasure to fit it yet. <br />
<br />
J2 I’ve installed a fair bit now. Goes together well but I can’t hand on my heart say it goes together better than most others. I do like the colours and prints they do and think they’ve got the nail on the head with the shades and designs! Spoken to a few floor layers one man band set up...<br />

LVT floor laid a couple of years back. There&#039;s one area where it&#039;s lifted. It&#039;s pretty small, probably need to lift 3-4 pieces of LVT.<br />

First time posting on here!<br />

I’ve recently fitted Expona 600x600 tiles and to be honest I wasn’t impressed. They didn’t butt together particularly tightly and many of the tiles seemed to run slightly off square. <br />
<br />
As a consequence it was a hell of a job to get a great finish and the customer, who is being very picky (considering this is an HMO) is picking up that there’s slight gapping.<br />

Has anyone else had these kinds of issues with these tiles, or was it a dodgy batch? I’m usually...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Hi everyone. I’m looking into some issues I’ve run into with Karndean glue down LVT flooring installed over in-floor heat. I’ve noticed some gaps appear and grow over time, getting up to 5mm between the ends of some boards. When I checked the installation guidelines I noticed that Karndean has significantly changed their heating ramp up recommendations compared to what was available a few years ago, going from a few degrees per hour to only a couple degrees per day. <br />

I&#039;m looking into herrigbone SPC rather than tiles for the kitchen dining area (approx 40 sq.m) but I have a few questions that I&#039;m hoping somebody in the trade could help with.<br />

In terms of durability, which locking system is best? I like zeezoo which uses uniclic and bodo which uses a push down 5g. I&#039;ve also just ordered samples of moduleo layred as they have a good reputation and they use another system...<br />

I&#039;m trying to do everything on a shoestring (my first go at doing it, so I don&#039;t want perfect, I want good-enough), so Freecycle and Gumtree have contributed much of the interior - including some click vinyl planks.<br />

Where the planks met a door threshold into another room, I laid the planks about 1cm longer past the threshold of the door thinking I could cut them across in a straight line later and maybe place a marquetry stip across there before starting a different LVT in the other room.<br />
Is it possible to cut across the LVT boards in a straight line and remove the excess so I can lay new LVT boards up to it - or have I made a rod...<br />
