It is getting to be a joke. If glasses, and gloves are required, I won`t wear them. I have been thrown off 1 or two for it. Tbh I don`t mind boots, vis and a hat is o.k if it`s just walking around site, and not whilst on your knees.
Site work you can lose most of the gear if there's nobody around you. I was on a site last year shorts no hi vis 240 v on rcd hs turned up and didn't say a word. The only one done was the shop fitter for no safety guard on the chop saw.
