So, I get a call today (one of many as usual)... Left on my voice mail as I was on another call.. Anyway, the lady's a little distraught as she tells me her problem" "I've been given your number by a shop who said you could help, my number is **** Please help me" So I call her back and ask her the situation. " I had a new carpet fitted by this shop in August and my parquet flooring is lifting and I have a lump in the room " Anybody want to guess what the problem is? I've not been out to see her yet, but I have asked the shop what work was done at the house.
First one I reckon... I told the shop over the phone but they still want me to go and look, I will but I'll need to move furniture uplift carpet and underlay and leave to dry out, then report back.. " Oh no" says the shop. " I just want you to inspect it and confirm, we'll do all the work.. :stupid we didn't know there would be a problem with putting a pu on solid wood floor.................~"
