What is it with customers and lighting. Have done a couple of jobs this week that I had to go and get torch to get some lighting. It maybe I'm getting older and the eye's are fading but at around 4.30 I have trouble seeing. One job was a 3 storey HSL in a blood red carpet and the customer only had 1 40watt bulb on each main landing (old type bulb). Second was a modern house and only one spot light (non adjustable) on the landing and in the hall, the carpet was a eggplant colour (dark purple). Might have to carry my own lighting system if this keeps up.
I had to fit a load of hotel bedroom carpets in the hotel basement and the sparks hadn't even put the lights in. ****jng joke....couldn't see the pattern match on the joins it was so dark.
Very true this. These light bulbs people keep buying. I'm going to start taking a big lamp with me this winter.
My home is normally lit like Blackpool.... I keep switching them off... She keeps switching them back on again... Its a vicious circle & the same with the heating lol
you sound like my Mrs heating low and turning lights off when she leaves a room leaving me to then turn them back on when I go back in, like I keep telling her if you want to live in a cold dark place **** off and live in a cave. Turn those lights oon you tight git lol
I come home the other night and said to Jen get ya coat on love. She said ooooh are you taking me out for tea? I said no I'm turning the heating off while I go the pub ;-)
I seem to be having the same problem lately. What do you reckon is the best floodlight to carry in the van (without damaging it) for an average domestic job? Bob www.floorfixer.co.uk
