What is it with customers and lighting.
Have done a couple of jobs this week that I had to go and get torch to get some lighting. It maybe I'm getting older and the eye's are fading but at around 4.30 I have trouble seeing.
One job was a 3 storey HSL in a blood red carpet and the customer only had 1 40watt bulb on each main landing (old type bulb). Second was a modern house and only one spot light (non adjustable) on the landing and in the hall, the carpet was a eggplant colour (dark purple).
Might have to carry my own lighting system if this keeps up.

Very true this. These light bulbs people keep buying. I'm going to start taking a big lamp with me this winter.

Get yourself a LED floodlight and tripod. Had 1 on the van for the last couple of years.

I seem to be having the same problem lately. What do you reckon is the best floodlight to carry in the van (without damaging it) for an average domestic job?
