Which LVT click flooring should i get?

Hi all,

New here and this is my first post. I have been reading through the forum, very informative, but after visiting my local suppliers today I have a choice between Adore touch click, the stuff from carpet right and Quick Step uniclic.

The room is 35m2 and currently has a concrete base but this may end up boarded or screeded if neccessary. I was going to put this down myself so was hoping for an easy fit option and I have been told that no underlay would be required.

Hoping for some good advice before I take the plunge as this isn't going to be cheap and I'd like to get it right first time

Do you have any large windows of doors allowing direct sunlight ??
Not a fan of the click LVT myself. Any reason for not having the dry back , stuck down products.??

 

there is a large window but it always has the blinds closed. My wife plans for us to move in the next 3-5 years and wants to remove the vinyl and take it with us.

 

Not sure if the Adore will be much good in 5 years tbh !

 

Would mflorlock be a better product? If I can find someone local that sells it.

 

Where are you based?

 

Tell the mrs forget taking it with her, anything like mine she'll get bored of it in 6 months anyway.
Go with a screed and stick down method, much better imo

After doing some more research, mainly on this site, I do think I'll have to convince her the glue down stuff is the best option. Thanks for the help, now time to find the best option.

 

To be honest, if your moving, a stick down lvt would be a waste of money as they are long lasting floors with an average of 15-20yrs of life expectancy, maybe just a sheet vinyl or a cheap click if your sorting the job yourself.

 

Agreed. There's some nice looking vinyl's out there to.

 

polyflor secura could be an option.
