Hi Everyone, We are looking for a skilled fitter or a fitter with an apprentice to join the team at Ascot Carpets & Flooring. We have been going for 40 years and mainly work in middle to high end domestic porperties around Berkshire & Surrey. Products sold include Adams, Victoria, Brockway, Alternative, Crucial Trading, Telenzo, Westex, Bronte & Jacaranda. Requirements: High ability to install tufted & woven carpets on stretch fit and double stick systems. Cotton Taped & Whipped Stair runners inc shaping. Sisal fitting would be an advantage but not necessary. Own Van & Tools (Power stretcher prefered but not essential). Reliable & on time. Smart apperance. Willing to work as part of a team. Doubt it never done any work for you but knew a couple that used to years ago, used to work for them shower of sh**e fernbank flooring when I was learning many moons ago, dark days a lot of what I learnt there was wrong and didn't know any better till I left done my nvqs and a few courses, looking back on it I'm surprised I got away with so much! Hi Paul, heard lots of stories about Fernbank, they went bust and recently disappeared from the shop they was in. Don't personally know them as i moved here from London 18 months ago. Great companies and fitters are heard to come by!! Cheers. Joe

Is it fernbank from bracknell area? I drove through there today. They advertise on the signs on the roundabouts
