10sqm Safety Floor rolls

  1. I know what you mean about the weight but is it really worth it to exclusively make safety floor 10m L ?!?

    I can. Dragging a 40 m roll across a mudding site, covered in sh*t.
As if anyone at the warehouse cares ?
If your working for a contract firm, the reality is, they order 20 rolls, and when they turn up, your left to deal with them.

  3. Ahh yes very good point sorry! I'm just used to doing my own work ! Wouldn't turn up if someone else has bought the gear

  4. And I don't mean that in an obnoxious way just had enough of getting paid labour only and letting a builder take all the cream lol

Had this hassle last year. Builder supplying the tiles. 100 odd boxes of carpet tiles delivered and left outside in the cold for 3 days. My lads turned up a. There was murder who was responsible for getting them inside. We had to in the end.

Don`t you just love that. One of the firms we work for all the time, took the supply out a while ago. They use the 6mm loose lay tiles, which come in 80sq. m packs, which each weigh 1 ton. Most jobs are between 800-1200 sq. m.
Now we don`t supply, the tiles are there`s, not mine, so we dont get them into site. Had a big row about who was responsible, and I told them I had priced to fit, not load.

Indeed know a fair few who go florco for carpets etc for their work then sub the fitting out to the cheapest they can find, if your not trade you shouldn't be able to go to a distributer imo
