Is there a thin (25mm) two sided dim strip available? One that feathers on both sides and rises a millimetre or two at the middle at most.

2 dim strips back to back; too wide and unsightly and not in uniformity to the rest of the job.
To cover two vinyls on bad floor where a neat weld is not possible on commercial job

I was being sarcastic about the 2 strips!...but if it wouldnt be uniformity of the rest then are you saying is there already the strip you asked for used? Or is this the first join that cant be salvaged?

I had to do a repair before where join wasnt good enough to weld so I had to cut out an inch wide section under where the door fell and used black vinyl as a strip

There are few good makes such a Quantium, Gradus. You can take a sample box and check them how are looks on the floor.
