I need to vent my frustration with a nob head floorlayer I have to team up with sometimes....no matter how much shit I give him it just doesnt seem to stick inside is basin head! So we have a domestic 85m2 kitchen diner & lounge to prep. I take the ply fit and he takes the screed. Firstly after taking him over half hr (yes half hr) to clean his shit up battered old bucket out he decides to hit it that once more and bash a big crack through it...duhhhhhh!!! So then decides he will use an old f44 bucket to mix his 1200 in ....then stops half way through to have his 'facebook' fix which then turned into a 20 min consultation with the downstairs loo.... ....by this time ive just about finished the ply and started cleaning the crap out - "you done already? Brill, you can mix for me then" .... "Get stuffed pal, you crack on, im off to my next job" I ended up mixing a couple bags for him because I felt embarrassed in front of the customer so I wanted to do her a favour and get him and his shit gear out of there. ...so it turned out we needed to mix another bag to finish off, didnt need to use all the mix but this dick head decides he wants to make sure his bucket is empty so poured the whole lot out and now theres a hump smack bang infront of the patio door because there is to much screed down and couldnt push it any further than his pussy effort of a 50cm reach, so damn lazy! Im just glad he's fitting that area and im in the lounge tomorrow away from the prat. Aarrgghhhh why do some think that just because you have all this screed left in your bucket you have to use it. As for facebook well dont get me started. F44 bucket...I mean come on wtf!!!!!! Am I allowed to have a beer even thought its a week day
Was it the 5ltr bucket? Why is he like that. Has he worked with Cowboys must of his life ? On tapatalk HD
I swept and hoovered and re scraped a room 5 times today due to other trades being messy. Little annoyed to say the least
Hope you had that beer Rugmunching lol Getting onto excess screed. I use something called a bucket glove. It's a liner which goes into its own bucket. Pour the excess in them. When the screeds gone hard you can peel the lump out of the bucket glove and discard. http://www.mix-m8.co.uk/store/bucket-glove-sleeve-singles/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
45m2 of that was the ply fit. I ended up getting my own bucket out when I started mixing for him though, sack that!
Lol the 15ltr bucket mate. He used to work for a firm that was full of right slackers, he thinks he knows best.
