Hi all. I have got a small polysafe standard job that needs to be welded the same day as fitting. Any ideas on what adheive to use. Was thinking of a pressure sensitive but not recommended in Balls adhesive guide. Many thanks.
Depends how well you cut your seam in an groove it out. If you groove to deep down to the deck and expose the adhesive your going to have problems welding it if the adhesive is sill wet
I've always welded same day and never had problems in 28 years! Unless it's epoxy of course. Sent from my Galaxy S6
Just don't groove down to the adhesive and you should be ok, personally I leave 24 hours as recommended by polyflor and altro. F44 will grab but the welder will simply blow any wet adhesive to the surface and when you scrape the weld out it comes....... If I'm doing same day and there internal joints then I use f61 contact on the last 4 inch so I know it's grabbed. Also if it's a plywood sub flor then I find the glue takes longer to dry than onscreen due to absorbency, failing that use double drop method with f44....... Glue the floor drop the vinyl in so adhesive transfers to backing, lift back again leave for 5 mins or so to get a bit of air to it then drop back and roll like hell
