Hello! I have some Amtico and would like to put it down it the bathroom and kitchen. Just concerned about flood/water damage long term. Will the adhesive tank the floor or do I need a waterproof membrane first? I don't have enough to complete the kitchen floor - so none on the area under the units. Concerned water could flow into the plywood floor. Any advice really welcome. K (total amateur and future landlady)x
Im guessing you haven't had a fitter round to have a look at job? You dont fit amtico under the units. You take the plinths off and fit tiles up to unit legs and put plinths back on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Use sp 101 plywood. Is is higher level one. On the ends use sit on skirting. Www.services.profflooring.co.uk
Sit on skirting in the bathroom? Not for me Just use normal skirting, wood skirting in a bathroom really isn't that big an issue.
I don't know what sit on skirting is - but it sounds like skirting you can sit on. Need a smaller bottom.
I can see how they would work really well. This is a rental property and tenants can be a bit careless - so semi domestic in my case.
Hello What is cap and cove? I'm an amateur. Since my last post I've filled and sanded the floor so its nice and smooth. Can't wait for Amtico day soon!
Cap and cove is where you take vinyl up the wall approx 10cm, you will see it usually in commercial kitchens/wet rooms. Not something you can do with amtico. Think ste was making a joke haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
