    Hi,
I'very got a problem with 3 'new builds' - one fitted 14 months ago, one 12 months ago and one 2 months ago. All plots are the same - slight gaps opened up around just about every tile. Builders blame Amtico, Amtico blame the builder's and we'recommend stuck in the middle tasked with sorting it out.
Moduleo supply a coloured grout but our head office won'the let us cross the brands.
Any ideas/suggestions on how to fix these would be greatly appreciated!

Coloured grout is available from most reputable companies.
What's the sub floor, adhesive etc ?

how bad is the gapping? is it hairline or 1/2mm, if former back of knife the edges to close up if the latter than its a problem im not sure can be fixed without a bodge, sounds like wrong glue has been used and temps havent been maintained for long enough possibly, new builds should be fitted on ht extra now to get a warranty from them.

So with changes in temp you can get gapping... Fitted amtico by a bay window with direct sunlight with f46. And has started gapping in an area. But this is down to customer not maintaining temp... So would advise using a coloured grout this is all you can do... It will look OK.. Otherwise pull up affected tiles and replace and hope the sub floor stays intact. Or if the gaps are slight all over then just use grout doesn't matter on the brand. Why does the brand matter its just grout for gaps. and try to control temp in the flats better in the future..

Yes but if we all used that we would all run out of business for 25 years

Yeah I'd say it's the 46. KE66 best for LVT planks. Should be using Amtico Adhesive using Amtico really or warranty void.

Maintaining temperature is a joke. It's impossible to do that unless you keep heating on 24hrs a day.

all we use now is ht extra or universal on all plots, doesnt make too much of a difference in m2 you can get down depending on the layout of the plot floor pattern etc, me and my mate can still get 60/70m2 a day down on it in new builds

Lots of advice here - much appreciated!
Only use HT Extra now but on older plots where PS was used we'retain getting complaints. Amtico blame the fitter, fitters blame the builder's, builders blame me!
Trying Moduleo coloured grouts for the first time - fingers crossed!!!

I find it bizarre that lvt companies offer grout. Technical advise would be better.

    Any PS

Its all weak and only suitable for small pieces or small tiles in my opinion
Alought there is F49 now but fitting woodplank is cleaner and quicker dry fitting then glueing in sections with wet set even doing border work imo
