Hi, hope someone can advise on carpet quality please. I'm considering the condor imperial saxony, available for £14 psm (hoping to source it through a local fitter).
I also have a sample of the condor revolution (£7 psm) which doesn't seem to be good quality. Does anyone have an opinion on the imperial, or condor generally please?
My partner takes some convincing that we should spend any more than the minimum (!) but it's the lounge and we're staying in the house long term. But then it's a big lounge and realistically £14 for carpet is the most we can spend.
    Thanks

You really get what you pay for when it comes to carpet. Spend as much as you can afford. A decent quality underlay will also help

Revolution is ok for what it costs tbh, I used to sell lots of it and it’s just a slightly better standard than the cheap rental type stuff, it will flatten so will the saxony. Try revolution heathers new range as that’s a saxony type and not bad for the money, but equally don’t expect them to last and retain appearance for long as they are aimed at a budget market

    Bigwarehousesale has it at
£7 inc vat but as you say probably something wrong with it at that price (and not sure about them as a supplier). The sample didn't look good to me anyway. I did quite like the condor imperial but would be good to have opinions on the quality of that before I make the rounds of local fitters to get an actual price.
    Thanks

What I actually want is the carpetright Jupiter in sky. Perfect colour, and I think the quality looks ok but would be good to hear any views. It's £21 psm and I can't find another supplier for that one (think it's exclusive to CR) so I'm looking at the condor imperial in denim as an alternative. Would prefer to go independent.
