Looked at a job today, and its something ive not come across before.
Its a changing room, in a gym, and the existing floor finish make up is

    2x layers 25mm ply
top layer is a resin, approx 10mm thick, and has been coved up, and is well bonded

Spec, is to install Forbo Surestep, sheet. Working hours are very limited, 11pm to 6am

Taking up is not really an option, so, question is what to go over it with.

    Any ideas ?

Floor finish has to be Forbo Surestep.
I did think of isolator but there would be a problem at the cove, and also around the access covers, of which there are a lot.

So, 280/feather, maybe 2x coats. Whats Uzin feather equiv ?
I had thought along the lines of degrease/prime/fibre
There is a tiny bit of movement in the floor, but everything is well bonded, and if the Uzin system will work, fast track is whats needed

    Uzin 888s
It’s very good imo far superior to other feathers out there

Stick a fan over the 280 then the 888s and it will be dry in no time
I honestly can’t think of a better solution for your situation

Ok, thats what i`m going to go for. Thinking back, I have used 888, as I remember it came in a bag, in a tub ?
It was a long time ago, when I was doing a Primark

888s is a faster drying version just comes in a bag not the biggest bags but obviously it’s meant as a skim coat so goes quite far
    Leaves a lovely smooth finish

Unfortunately.........Yes Softlay would work, could use 21 or bond it each side and use fleece .......and when we launch our single component pressure sensitive dpm adhesive....well.......game changers .
