Brilliant tool for creasing in carpet , prior to stretching , as a tucker its good for thinner carpets.
I do like the speed cat. Shame they are built so poorly. Mine lasted about 6 months. Can we ask the yanks to make the next ones so they last forever Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They work well but I use it only on certain jobs / types of carpet, not all the time. The metal ones Mark some paints if you use them to tuck so you have to go round cleaning afterwards. Great for hooking on as you stretch, flat areas and stairs. Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
Orcon quick tucker, its superior in every way to that crap speedcat, the base fell of my speedcat and the wheels mark the skirtings. Orcon doesnt mark the skirtings at all and i use the metal side to crease the carpet and it works far better than the speedcat, and you can actually hold it comfortably, i find it sometimes tucks the pile awkwardly on certain carpets so i dont always use it to tuck, but the creasing is worth it alone,oh and its also half the price
I have had my speed cat for years not had any issues with the quality , wheels don't mark skirting if it's flat there angled ????
Guess it depends on the carpet and how wide you out your grippers, ive seen people "tuck" with the back of a gook blade cause their grippers an inch from the wall
No i wish used it on a forum few years ago, every time i sign up to a new forum it seems to use it and i dont know how to change it my cars faster
