Hi Folks, We have been talking about the LION Floor board and all its benefits, is there anyone that would like a sample sending so you can take a look at it for yourself?
Sample looks ok. But hard to know how it would be under a LVT for a few years. Can it be feather finished , can it be screeded over with 4mm of fibre Screeding compund. Like most new products a lot of people wait to see what it’s like. Could you send me a couple of sheets and I’ll do a tests with screeds
Any idea which Headlam Group places have it around the West Midlands? Haven't actually found any yet...
I got my sample from GW and they have it on their system but like Daz says I want to be sure before I start using it.
Amtico are currently doing their tests on this and hopefully within the next couple of weeks I should have an answer for you as to whether they have passed it ... they are very keen on the board
Hi Daz, It has been tested with Ardex and F Ball and Norcross Adhesives, all of which have been very successful, as above it is now being tested with Amtico and I hope to have the final verdict on that shortly. The owners daughter from Karndean had her house fitted with it and I am sure they would have been in touch if she had issues with it as this has been down for over a year... Neil Andrew fitted the Karndean LVT for the house and he speaks very highly of the board
