Can't say too much the firm that makes it isn't very forthcoming but others have came across the same problem after using the product for years with the same prep and same way of putting it down not a problem with the installation just a problem with the screed but can't get an answer
Yes one particular manufacturer but can't say too much others have had the same problem but no info coming back from the makers so due to inconsistency and a one way street for info confidence is down so trying alternatives as a result.

Why can’t you mention the brand ? I’m pretty sure someone on here will be using same brand and be able to say if they are having problems or not .

Stopped using that particular screed. So far not much feedback from the supplier or manufacturers (even through the grapevine others have had the same problem) A lot of the time it's 3 firms competing for the same job so can't afford to use Na even competing against local firms that won't put down a DPM over new concrete just to get the work we don't cut corners!

Flex is great apart from the time limitations during hot weather other than that fantastic screed.
Try putting down more than 6 bags during a heatwave lol.
