I’ve just had a carpet fitted today and I’m not happy with the finish on some the stairs. The carpet appears to be baggy in parts and also tacked /stapled in some odd places. Am I being too fussy or is this right? Thank you!

Yes a lot of money! I’m not happy at all with the finish considering the cost of the carpet- I’ve already phoned them and yes it is laid in different directions!
That’s terrible. Who did the work? A shop? A chain? One fitter or two? Or possibly a random person off the street! Some companies are shocking. I was on a job a few weeks ago and the guy installing the glass balustrade on the staircase told us he’s a delivery driver and didn’t normally do the fitting!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh dear. They have so many fitters in and out they are going to end up like carpet right. Did you have to pay the fitter as soon as he finished? Did he fit it like he was going to miss the last bus home? They are paid by the m2 and stairs are not very lucrative jobs for them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
