This is the LVT click system we’re going to opt for as part of our master bathroom refit: Spectra light grey cement.

The thing is, they’re wanting to charge us £75 for LVT underlay - that’s for a 15m2 role, which is way too much for us.

I assume I can buy underlay from another brand to use under this LVT. Is that correct?

Why would you put lvt clic in a bathroom? Water will get stuck underneath it. Better off with a stick down products and swap the underlay for ply

This click system is for bathrooms and we were advised it was 100% waterproof.

Can you suggest a stick down product so that we can look into it?

I’m new to the forum... am I allowed to post a YouTube video that shows our gutted bathroom?

It shows the floor very clearly and what we’re dealing with.

It might be made out of 100% waterproof material but I personally don’t like the idea of a floated floor in a bathroom. Not to say it won’t work but clic lvt in general is poor. Any stick down LvT would be more suitable.

Also, is you primary reservation water getting into/under the click?

Our floor is not level, so we need something with a little give.

Polyflor, Karndean, amtico if you want to treat yourself.

As Merit said, I've been asked several times to lay a click on bathrooms but I dont want the hassle IF it starts to fail so I always suggest a top of the range vinyl or LVT.

Thanks for that. And will they lay ok if our floor isn’t 100% even?

Your floor will need plying out with 6mm plywood before you lay it so providing that's done the right way you'll have no issue with eveness.

I'm assuming your bathroom floor is timber base and not concrete....unless you in a bungalow o_O

Yes, it’s wood... currently MDF boards on top of joists. Will be putting ply on top of that.

Polyflor camaro range is decent and pretty cheap.
    Polyflor affinity is nice

It all depends what you want to spend. If you have a decent budget then you could go the amtico signature route.

What type you looking for? Wood plank or stone tile effect?
