Opened a shop and still on the tools a lot but have a few lads cards in and use 3 subbies now and then.
Subbing doing carpet on new builds ,£4.50sqm £25 a staircase and £25 diesel for anything past 30 miles. Been flat out last 2 years,expecting same again this year. Knackered
I did the same for 3years, about 20years ago, working 15-24 hours a day, 7days a week, driving 60,000 miles a year, was fine while i was doing it, it's when you stop that's the problem
Yeah i had 4 weeks off over christmas, last week was my first week back and my legs were killing me usually up at 5 and home by 5/6,not worth killing yourself over.
