Always used a standard plasterers float (you know the ones, wooden handle) anyone used the pointed floats? If so, what are the benefits? Better finish? Reduce flow lines? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had one of them pointed towels but takes a while to get used to it after using a rectangular one for 20yr so I've chucked it in one of my shelve on the van. Mostly use my itools take these days and standard trowel for the cupboards/wc's etc
I tried a pointed one years ago, didn't like it, i use a cam rake or a 16"×31/2" trowel for smaller areas
Never used anything other than a trowel myself, or know anyone who uses a pin leveller, are they a game changer? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Depends how thick you want to apply your screed, and what screed you use. And, how high you want it up the skirting
They save you a whole heap of time on big open areas especially with 2 itool mixers going one after another but you have to be careful not to get carried away and take it up the skirts. Practice makes perfect, found the art me....wax on wax off
