Has anyone come across this before? Have a job where this was installed last week and apparently it dries withing 8 days. Obviously I'll check with a damp metre but wondered if anyone has been up against it. I have amtico herringbone going down on it. Tia.
A while ago yes. It's some sort off accelerator added to screed so that it dries quicker. Doesnt retain the moisture in the floor or something like that Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
Thanks, so not anahydrate? Just rapid set? That's what worries me as I've not come across this ronacrete before but the builder swears by it.
It is an accelerator used in Portland cement Sometimes these additives can cause a shiney layer to form on the surface so it may need to be grinded But it tends to come off fairly easily
It’s basically an hydrologic binder, huge sales are done in this and other forms of curing agents to speed up drying times
