I would have thought they would have gave you a drink (commission) on top atleast for sending your customer their way when they could be missing out completely if you would have been supplying yourself. Plus you doing all the measuring etc...your basically an estimator for them!

You dont really have to do that mate, just dont send your customers to them and supply them yourself, shop wont even know and even if they did it's nothing to do with them but as I said earlier in.this thread that some shops think they own you and some get the hump even when your not doing anything wrong towards them.

Unless the work you are actually doing for this firm is just thought your customers only? But even so if that's the case you'll earn more supplying them yourself.

Get yourself an account, continue to do work for the shop and supply/fit for your own customers mate simples

Find a rest accountant - If only for setting up your books and you do it yourself from then.

Find a great lawyer - If you’re going to have terms for customers they are useless if they aren’t legal so it’s worth doing right, especially if you’re supplying your own products.

It’s not as easy or as great as it looks. It can be but it’s hard work. The more disciplined you are the more free time you will have.

Setup trade accounts so you can buy what you need as the best prices to maximise profits, which after all is what it’s about now.

Two final quotes to end with

“If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go with someone else”

“Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will”
