Jesus what the hell is that? Can it be removed and boxed in with ply ? Screed upto ply level and feather over If you use these underlay products you have to glue them to the floor and subfloor has to be completely flat and smooth anyway not loosely or they fail
Maybe but it’s not something I would attempt, they are waiting on builders but i doubt they will do anything with it... This is the reason I’m here, I’m trying to find the best practical solution. I'd be removing it DPM and span 9mm ply over it glued to each side screed to to ply and feather Builders would probably do f all to help
I would fill it and cement board it to make it more solid. Also won’t be effected by a dpm over the top. The trays sometimes have a ledge so you can check the thickness of board needed. Could fill with granno so it can be easily removed if you get a leaking pipe? Or use softlay but you might want to strengthen it if it’s flexing a lot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Possibly remove it, put timber or ply in the channel to support a ply top narrower than the channel, so you can make it flush or lower than the floor, then crack bridge it
I would smooth it out with feather etc, use murexin d499 moisture tolerant adhesive, adhere Softlay fleece 95%rh 19db, then use murexin d391 ps adhesive and fit the floor, will give you a 99%rh barrier.
