22 years old i have been fitting carpets for a year now and ventured into vinyl these past couple of months. I would like to earn some qualifications while I work I am in two minds in coming over to England and paying lots of money for a course. Is there any alternative iv herd I can take pictures of my work and pay money and earn qualifications that way but I have no idea where to look and I figure this is a good start thanks.
Doing courses will obviously improve your knowledge massively. Regarding nvqs and qualifications you could speak to Floorskills. They will have the answers for you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If its an Nvq your after, I would n`t bother, unless you need for site work etc. They really are not worth it. They can be done via phone calls & pictures, but I doubt you would learn anything. Its been a long time since I last did any work in Ireland, but there used to be any eqiv qualification there for site work.
Thanks I will get onto them I was under the impression they only do lvt and and wooden floors, latex ect
I will pm you a guys details. I honestly think its a waste of money though, unless its to access site work.
Floorskills cover everything you will need and more. Qualifications obtained over the telephone will be as much use as a university degree obtained on the internet and as reliable as a Nigerian Government minister who wants to give you $75,000,000 that he just happened to find lying in a dead customers account. I.E. Do the work get the skills and the qualification.
