Hi I'm new to the group and need some help been doing some research but I'm stuck ,Im going to be fitting some engineering wood floor in my living room ,but I'm getting moisture between bitumen floor and the current underlay of the carpet, the house is a easiform Lang ex council where I think to the dpc is in the wall and the bitumen acts as the damp proof ,what I'm not sure what to do is how to stop this so it won't rot my new floor ,thanks and look forward to your input
I think so lol. You can latex it with Ardex NA then use a Triton dpm or isolator sheet, then underlay and float the engineered wood. If you actually have water or visible moisture you may want to check you haven’t got a leaking pipe or water getting into the slab from outside first Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
