People don't how to use the adhesive Its a PS or a HT must be used as a wet set the get the strongest bond

So is this the best HT glue on market at present? I noticed from datasheet it has a big open-time. I suppose alot of fitters would like a glue that you can fit dry with HT properties. It's quicker and less laborious.

Long opening time if you using it as a PS yes and I still use it semi wet so not straight in it with the planks or tiles but give it 10mins or so and I'm off.

On UFH in parquet I use it as wet set but if it's planks/tiles I use the 66.

For me it's the best that I've used, never had an issue with it [touch massive wood] but I have used the F58plus as a wet set and I think it's just as good so far.

I've tried others but just don't think they are as good as the Ke49

How long do you have fitting time if going in wet as a HT with 49? Why use F58plus over F48 what are the advantages?

Dry fit and the wet set time with ke49 is irrelevant You just lift and glue what ever your comfortable with Let it air off for 5 mins and re lay Used semi wet it actually stays very receptive for quite a while on screeds but dries out alot quicker on ply although you have a good hour or so before it tacks off completely obviously its all dependent on site conditions

Like spacey says, it's quite forgiving as apposed the Ke66 hence why I use it more for the parquet's, you can see Ke66 turn within minutes.

I usually dry fit then lift 3-4 rows , glue out with the 49 then back in with the planks.

I tried the 58plus after the rep shown me it on the open day and at that time (I'd ran out if the ke49 and Uzin chucked all their material into their 2000s) and because its fibre based I prefer it to the f48 because it doesn't slide about if you lean on it. Never have got on with the F48 either, just feels too loose and thin to me, messy!

It was dry fitted, then lifted, glued and laid in wet

It's the lyvin that's shrunk, just saying that on this occasion, the ke49 didn't stop it

Will that go down as product failure? And if so will you be able to cover all costs? Mind you customer will be pissed but if customer choose product he will just have to suck it up.. I assume the lyvin was climatized.

Customer has been quite aggressive about it, i have long since given up on the idea that manufacturers guarantee their products, so it's going to cost me,if it had have been just me or another fitter, then i would be more inclined to question the installation first, but like i said, there were 3 fitters, one of them a floorskills master fitter and every single plank has shrunk

I’ve never had quickstep livyn shrink. I always thought it was one of the best. I’ve not fitted it on ps tho. Always on their own glue or k66. The only ps I’ve not had problems with is f49. Absolutely stinks tho

I've never had any problems with it before ,just this particular job,I've never hesitated to recommend it and it's nice to fit, although personally, i think it would sell more with a bit more texture

Was the site temp maintained for 24 hours before during and after installation ?
Ke49 is a HT when used as a wet set but will take much much longer to fully set than ke66 especially on screed There so many variables to consider when selecting adhesives All LVT planks will expand and contract with temp fluctuations

Customer was living there, so the temperature was constant, was fitted on sp101, apart from the conservatory, which was screed, the hallway is in the centre of the house, with no windows, outside temperature was average

That makes it worse when the customer is like that.
Are they thinking you intended for this to happen or what
