    It was fitted about 2 years ago, there was one bedroom that we did
    The only thing i can do different, is the adhesive, I'm not saying the adhesive is the problem, i'd just use quicksteps adhesive

    No, just the joints, it's also shrunk on the screed

    Has to be material failure surely...

    How long since it was fitted 2yr ago that your customer noticed it started to shrink?
    Is this house a newbuild?

    Sack that, just reread and its a bungalow.
    Don't think I've ever had a bungalow with timber floors
