    Hi guys

After some advice , I'm going to look at a job later they already have the wood but currently have ceramics down IV already said it's best to uplift the tiles but that will be a problem because of the furniture fitted on top , if all moisture levels are ok can I prep the tiles for a latex compound and fit the wood onto that , it's something iv never done with wood so unsure myself it's also a high traffic area.

    Thanks in advance

Ideally, rip it up and start from scratch, but if you did go over the top, it might be worth looking at using Elastilon(i wouldn't recommend the cheaper versions),at least it removes the risk of the wood pulling the screed up

Definitely not am option to pull the tiles up IV got to go back next week and re-check the moisture had spots reading to high , what's your thoughts in floating it over glueing to the floor ? IV some it for a company in bigger lounges then what IV measured today

If it's engineered and the floor is flat, floating should be fine
