Our floors are freshly layed screed over underfloor heating for the entire area of the job.
Prep. to install should be minimal as it's a superb screeding job in my opinion. No divots, cracks, pre-existing repairs or anything to contend with.
All outfits we've had dialogue with are aware that this is the start point.
No reason to suspect anything other than levelling and away you go - apart from initially ensuring the moisture content is satisfactory but that's just a delay in progress which we won't be rushing.

Just had a ballpark Amtico estimate arrive from another well established local outfit.
£70-£85 m2 depending upon final choice if sticking with a 0.55mm wear layer product.

I'm thinking the Boulevard product isn't going to get a look in due to the installer wanting a premium rate.
So far I've heard nothing that seems to justify the price difference.
Add that to the limited information about the product ie. who makes it? Is it available from a variety of sources? Does it have a known life span? etc

Down side is that she who must be kept happy now needs to make a decision on an alternative plank!
At least we've got a couple of months before the moisture value will be within range :)

Maybe. He’s priced for a dpm. Seems excessive for boulavard. I think £70-£85 for spacia is reasonable for that type of job.

Can't see why any dpm price would be included.
The dpm is beneath the underfloor heating that's only just been installed with the new screed still in the drying phase!

Maybe he priced for a dpm to go on top to speed up your install...who knows but that's a massive charge I know that o_O

Sounds like a day rate. Is there something hideous to cut around? American fridge freezer to move?
If he isn’t going to do a rh test he will have to use a dpm. Or just hope it’s dry
