Speaking to my friend graham last night who uses them alot and rates them highly even though they cost more then most screeds.
After chatting with Jeff from ardex I might stay using there NA and dpm more often.
Has anyone used there dpm 1c?

Used to only use yellow bag , na, feather finish, a45 etc but have been using screedmaster and mapei quite a bit lately but I do like ardex na, is it just me or does a45 rapid take longer to dry than it used to

Got a email back off Geoff from ardex. I asked him if using NA would lines appear from heavy beds and trolleys at a hospital for example. Also would heels leave indentations in the floor covering over NA.
    He said -

"no unless it subject to alot of weight within the 1st 24 hours and I mean serious weight.
I would guess that 90% of our work is contract including hospitals. I will call you Monday to tell you about the performance of NA at aintree hospital on asphalt. Use NA this is our best selling screed.

Any questions you want me to ask him tomorrow?

I'm not sure if it was him but ardex told me that using water as a primer (on sand/cement) was fine if using N A. It did work. Could u ask him that ? Cheers Daz

I used Na on a domestic cushionfloor, I do like it, flows well and goes a nice colour. Did notice the surface after 48hours was marking with the toe of my boots.

I used Ardex Arditex NA Plus today (not to be confused with normal NA). Not happy with it. Took 20 bags for a 60m2 job and still didn't have enough! and yes I did prime it.

Was going off far too fast to work with. Back tomorrow to finish off and rub down the spike marks!

Before we knock it with your / our issues.

What size bags are they? Are you comparing to same size bag to what you would normally use? In theory if you have the same amount of product in a bag to another bag then how can one product go further than another? (both primed etc? )

As for setting to fast, what was subfloor temps and air temperature?

Not picking on you personally G4L, genuine questions as there seems to be a lot of complaints of late about different products. I think its only fair that we have the above information from now on to compare products fairly.

K11 is ok, and fa20 is decent over ply, but I only use mapeproof 1k turbo surface membrane.

Back to using normal NA yesterday and it was lovely! Spiked it and checked today and it was smooth as a babys bum!

Would never use that other RS PLUS product again!

Have you tried their ardex dpm 1c , great gear that.
It's solid when dry. Looks like Ashpalt.
