Been looking for a double stick for small cap an cove jobs rather then F60.
Seen the uzin one at a demo but you have to wait a hour for it to go off.
Any others that stick well and go off quick?

mapei does one that is supposed to be solvent Free.

BUT it stinks really bad and is still highly flammable so dont understand how its solvent free?

Some of the contact sprays are good also but you have to be careful where you use them with H+S etc.

You also have the option of using contact tape that you can use any where. Only issue its not a cheap way of doing it.

I've been to some cap and cove jobs where there has been a failure and it's always been where the installer has used spray contact... :?

Not used it myself and don't think it's a long term fixing as I have said I've seen too many problems with it. Not saying that the product is suitable for purpose just that it has put me off using it. Although I've also seen f60 come away but it has been put onto fresh paint/plaster so yet again the product hasn't failed just the surface that it has been put upon.

Dont worry about passing some on to Ken. I have used it in the past and got a load of sega tape.

Just couldn't remember the name but you have confirmed that for me.

Gemini adhesives make the best spray contact in the world and they don't make it for anyone else.
Check out their website they have test results on many surfaces up against other leading brands all of which failed especially the JM800 its the worst offender.
All of theirs are still holding and have been since development.
Used it regular and never had a failing.

I would second that. Excellent stuff, and fantastic customer service. I had a problem with a batch, they were there that evening 8pm to change the bottle over.
I have used 100`s of litres and its good !

Gemini also do there carpet tackifier in spray form used it twice not a very good tack grab on new open screed but a good tack on a latexes floor goes a long way to compared to troweling and a lot quicker

Whats it like on raised access floors mate haven't tried it myself yet just curious, one would assume on a latexed floor it would be somewhat the same on a raised access floor (no poors for it to become consumed).
But to ASSUME is the mother of all cock ups and makes an ASS of U an ME.
They also do a PSA anyone tried that.

First purchase seems some what on the dear side, but that is only because you need the hose and gun although they do throw in a couple of free nipples and a very nice little roller, which I have found quite useful.
The gold is the best one and the best thing about their adhesive it becomes inert in milliseconds.
