Just heard that fuel prices should drop by 3p tomorrow !
That should mean Derv is down to 1.37, and Sainsburys have a 5p offer on as well.
Diesel is a major factor now, 4 vans on the move at £110 per fill up.
Its about time it came down.

and it will only go back up again in a few months time.

What i dont get is how the Government get away with putting so much tax on it but blame the price of the fuel in the first place. So why is red Diesel available at 70p a liter then that you already have tax on ? only difference is not filtered as fine (simply to sort) and someone has spent money on dying it red!

well actually, Red Deisel is now taxed the same unless its being used for heating. Sort of defeats the point in it being red as when you buy it you have to say what the fuel is being used for and this will set the Tax rate on the fuel.

A "friends" boat that uses 30 gallon per hour per engine so playing around at sea it can drink 60 gallons per hour ! Boats was allowed to use red at 60p etc a litre, but now i have to pay the full £1.40 a liter :(

However if i fill one of the tanks and use it for the heating system (runs on diesel) then i can get that fuel for 60 p.

The boat has a VERY in-efficient heating system that i use every day no matter what the weather when out playing LOL.

Getting back on track...... just shows how much the government pocket out of a sale of fuel.

That looks rather unsafe to be aboard.

Ha, thought we was talking about the boat.
You can put 2 stroke in most things and they will run better. Can be added to diesel in cars/vans, and if your running a motor on kero, 2 stroke will proivde the lubriaction needed.
Why dont you try it in the heli and let us know how it runs ?
