    Sorry Matt,
had roofers head on today, the customer wanted to know why the ceiling was getting wet when it rained very hard.
So I said it must be driving rain coming through the pantiles, so we had a look.
    ooops..

actually for the cap and cove fitters .....

There is a new roofing product out for flat roofs that comes in 2 and 4 meter roles i think that is just like commercial vinyl. You glue it down and then weld the joints.

Its a bit of a grey are of whos job it is. After all you fit it like flooring so roofers are struggling. but floor layers are not roofers ! I can see a lot of floorlayers doing this type of work. (bit like when laminates first came out)

We know how to install plywood / osb etc as a base and we know how to install vinyl. BUT floor layers dont know how to do flashing, roof run of, gutters etc so a strange one. Guess best is floorlayers do the vinyl laying only? (obviously Mario knows how to do it all but he is a rare breed fueled by wine)

I know most of the shops in norfolk and they know I don't mind doing it.. at a price.
I had one a few weeks back, been down just over a year and they wondered why it was lifting.
So I asked them what the last installers do?
Answer: Just ripped it all up and layed new straight away.
    Didn't check for moisture!!
So I put my box down and left, came back and it was through the roof, so told them I'll come back in a couple of weeks and check it again. Can't have that they said, so I told them "you do it my way or get someone else to do it and give me a call when that all pop up.
    THEY WAITED.. :p
