I did a bathroom the other day in Karndean with a step but the customer doesnt like the nosing I put on because she said its too high. And it's a trip for her 6 year old daughter. It looks great to me and isn't a trip but she wants a different one. The one on is a PVC quantum nosing. Brown PVC an brown infill.
Anyone know any good ones for LVTs

Going tomorrow so will get a picture. Her husband said its great. The Karndean is 2.5mm the nosing is 3.5mm. The thiner nosing was 2mm so the Karndean would have lipped over. She didn't want any alum nosing either.

bloody hell she doesn't want much does she? but a 1mm lip is way under regulations for a trip hazard, I do believe it's 3-4mm for it to be classed as a hazard, not done any contract for a while :D

did you fit upto it or put it ontop?
Are you saying it's a flexible pvc or rigid, if it had an insert it would be rigid

Riged mate, It's onto ply and Karndean is cut too it. I glued it and screwed it then put insert in. God help getting it off. I have a full range of quantum and gradus to show her tomorrow. She said she will pay again for a new one. Hope so too it's 1.51 m long

show her a ramped edge mate, it slopes down at the back of the nosing and it's fitted ontop of karndean.
was the nosing a heavy duty one or slimline?

I'm pretty sure cat make one you can run the lvt up to the front of it? Or it may be a side trim. One of the shops I use to work for used them, looked well neat.
