Compressors & coil nailers

    Has anyone got some advice on how much air (cfm?) and what size tank would be needed to run a coil nailer.I'm getting conflicting views on this.The compressor would be used to spray varnish occasionally but it's main use would be for nailing ply subfloors,

    My valve keeps leaking on mine so constantly runs very annoying been sent back 3 times now

    had mine nearly 3yrs now, everythings fine with it.:cool:

    machine mart ones are good. Get a silent air one tho as regs on sites are strict on noise .

    get the biggest HP one you can afford.

    Have been stopped twice now as to loud on site, will be looking for quiet one next

    hate compressors, hammer and ringshank all day long, end up with arms like popeye though.

    To be fair I screw most of my ply down now and that takes just as long.

    Pined a bathroom on Monday 3 sheets 8x4 6mm with mallet and stapler f@£* me fore arms went solid and ached for ages but maybe thats just the southern softie in me :)

    ringshanks go in so much easier, and a hell of a lot cheaper:D

    About 6 months. Not happy. It's made in china. There is a china certificate in the box.
