Been to do a stairs/landing today and the customer stuck the gripper himself. So I took it up and did it properly The rubbish I used on the stairs
i hate it when that happens. I had a customer who insisted he put the gripper down. So i lent him my tools and went the cafe for a Fry up. I returned and he had made this mess !
Think I'll take more time with my gripper now lol, I better get my cutters sharpened ready for all the mitres Do you always gripper infront of trims ?
No, gripper was there as it was a large landing and needed a high tension stretch. Also the gripper was next to a trim that wont get walked on. If it was a door way for example i wouldn't do this unless i was installing ply up to . Basically so you would end up with gripper same height as a raised plate and NOT sitting higher .
Ahh I see, i usually spray some adhesive on the spikes of a trim for extra support because the spikes are useless. Do you stretch way from a door trim or into it ?
