Hope your all having fun working I would gladly swap with anyone as I'm currently sat in a f-ing field in Devon camping with the worst weather ever 35 mph winds driving rain, note to self when the wife has a good idea about a holiday ignore how have I gone from 2 weeks ago being in a villa on the beach in Majorca 40 oc heat to 10 degrees of rain in a field in Devon in a f-ing tent

im not sure how going away in the u.k can be classed as a Holiday? its always spoilt by rain, traffic jams on the way , seems to always end up costing more than going abroad and without getting sunburn on your first day it just dont seem right

This is the 1st time I have had a holiday in uk for 20 odd years,I am down at butlins in bognor Regis .
My wife booked it and ever since I have been dreading the thought of coming,I got 2 boys 5 & 2 and it's for them.
We got here Monday and I think it is not half as bad as I thought,(am actually enjoying it) glad only doing 5 days though as chasing my 2 around is harder than going to work......
Next year we are off to Philippines again to see my wife's family

My mrs dragged me to camber sands a few years ago, that was the first uk holiday I had been on and was also dreading it. Actually turned out to be a good laugh. Still need a week in a nice hot country all inclusive.
Do you get stuck in to the chicken feet when your in the phillipines mate :)

Good luck with skeggy mate. We took the kids there a few years back and found it was a total rip off. MOst of the staff don,t speak english, the grub in the 25 quid a head Gold restaurant came out of tins and packets done in a microwave , and every other family was on the sick with their walking sticks in one hand and a can of Spesh in the other. And an on site Ladbrokes ffs......not to mention the pikeys running the go carts who charged whtever they wanted regardless of the price list. Still, the kids loved it and we we got a partial refund when we complained.
