where do you plan on getting one from? Kool Glide wont deal with U.k. Really peed me off as i wanted 20 of them as a first order and plenty to follow. BUT they wont even return my emails. Joke of company .
Got cousins in the USA who are always back and forth, may get them to bring one over. The last guy I worked for also tried as a distributor we were going to try and sell them here, but like you they were not that great at replies
i am sure they would reply to usa,I've been reading about them on other forums and they seem quite popular over there
they are a great bit of kit. NICF had one on test which i played with and think they are really good. But for some reason they wont deal with U.K. Joke of a company as they dont even reply to emails.
How much do you think they would sell for in the UK.How much would the tape sell for.Much as i might be interested I know how tight carpet fitters can be,do you think they would spend the money while heat seaming is so cheap
end of day the iron and tape needs to compete price wise with traditional methods. Lets say the tape costs a little more ? if it does we need to prove this is a better method or maybe a faster method to even up labor v material costs. I cant get the bloody thing in U.k at moment so until we have it we wont know.
They would be good for seams in door ways and repairs,as the iron just sits on top and you don't have the hassle of trying to get the iron out
also they are great if your not happy with a section of the join. You can simply reheat that section and adjust it.
I bought An Air lifter from the USA years ago when the pound was strong against the dollar. So I had to buy A voltage converter for about £80.I don't use it now unless I'm working on my own but Its great for moving those big LG american style fridges.
Seen that seam down now that goes with it. Luv the yanks I'm definatly up for getting 1, my mate goes to the states every couple of months so il have to ask him to get me 1
I can get hold them mate. BUT im reluctanate to as teh manufactorier wont deal with us. So lets say i sell you one. If it went wrong then who do i return it to ? Manufctaorier wont want to know .
Don't worry mate, I won't seam over any bolsters! Seroiusly tho, I know it's a bit of a risk but I would probably take it depending on how much it works out for one
