Thanks mate, dug out a few courses of the old wet bricks so looking forward to getting the new screed in next week. Had to dig round 2 more pipes, a lot easier when you know where they are!

Im never using that stuff again. I was told it was what was used everywhere else but not sure it is.

fitted 32m2 of unfinished eng. oak distressed, then spent 2.5hrs on knees hand-ragging on an 'olde english' stain, serious black hands to scrub @ 8PM...! liking the progess, IMO leave oak as oak, just bring it to life with a clear osmo or similar - bootiful
