Did this with my dad today and looked really nice. Nice stuff to work with too as it was the light collection.
They weren't quite orange but a really bright brown colour actually looked really good. We use a template to scribe in the 45%. We used to measure every tile round the outside now we overlay the tile then use a piece of ply up agains the skirting and cut through. Because it was the light collection we could free hand around the legs of the kitchen etc You might already do it like that lol
